Sonora Market & Taqueria Reviews
Came here for a burrito 8 years ago when we moved into the neighborhood and was impressed and been living it ever since. Owned by a nice family who makes great food. Highly recommend the grilled chicken super burrito. The red and green salsa are super delicious and very spicy!
This is the best most flavorful Mexican food I've had in a while. The salsas are amazing. Try it.
This is by far my favorite Mexican food place in Marin. The food is always tasty and reasonably priced. They have a nice drink selection and many tables available inside.
Amazing food The lingua tacos are awesome even for breakfast . Is a nice little family business very friendly look forward to coming back here while on my trip to Sonoma, California. Try the green salsa it is really good and spicy, but not too spicy
Great tasting burritos at a reasonable price. Beef and chicken burritos are our favorites. Red salsa has good heat and flavor.
I love this place! I've been coming here for years just because of the location but in general the food is really tasty and you get a good amount of food for the price. The service is super fast you order ahead then wait and they always bring chips and salsa before. It's very cute inside too and colorful. Get the SUPER BURRITO I'm giving four stars because sometimes it's a little too quiet and empty and since most people do takeout and there's nothing that makes it extremely special compared to other Mexican restaurants.
This is the quintessential Mexican spot in TL! I have been coming for years and while the shop itself has changed, the food hasn't. This has never been a place for ambiance, it's truly a dive. I've had a lot of different dishes here over the years but most recently, I had the nachos and a super burrito with chicken. Both were absolutely incredible, the nachos were super cheesy, tons of meat, guacamole and sour cream. The super burrito is always a winner. The chicken is flavorful and I love the red wet sauce, it's so delicious. You really can't go wrong with any of the items here but if you're hungry, get a burrito and your stomach will thank you!
Nice spot in the neighborhood which offers a wide selection of burritos, tacos and many more! Indoor and outdoor seating is available for your picking You can order at the counter to take away, or take a seat to order, then pay at the counter when you're done with your taqueria feast Definitely recommend the combos, tasty and quick service Would have liked to been offered more chips and salsa for a table of 3

WOW!!! The best chicken quesadilla I have ever had!. My husband and I love Sonora Taqueria. We rewarded our selves with lunch there after getting our flu and COVID vaxes. I usually order a chicken enchilada with green sauce but today I wanted to try something different: a grilled chicken quesadilla. It arrived looking huge, a golden grilled half moon cleverly cut in four pie shaped pieces. "I'll never be able to eat all of this", I commented to my husband who was feasting on his favorite, Camarones al Mojo de Aho. The grilled chicken was moist and tasted sublimely of the grill-so flavorful! When I opened up the quesadilla to add some sour cream and guacamole (which came with the quesadilla) I was very pleased to find very little cheese; just enough to keep the chicken in place. One of my pet peeves with Mexican restaurants is how many drown everything in melted cheese. In this case the flavor of the grilled chicken predominated. I ate the whole thing and said to my husband, "I have found a new favorite!".
